Brownells
The Brownells AR-15/M16 Deluxe Buttstock Cleaning Kit puts everything you need to maintain your rifle right where it belongs—secured in the buttstock itself. Designed for shooters who take responsibility for their gear, this kit fits snugly inside A-1/A-2 buttstock compartments, so you're never caught at the range or in the field without a way to keep your 5.56mm rifle clean and running right.
The deluxe configuration goes beyond the basics. You get a government-pattern five-piece cleaning rod with loop, bronze bore brush, bronze chamber brush, and a double-ended parts brush for those harder-to-reach spots. Where this kit earns its name is the addition of a solvent-resistant nylon chamber brush—built to stand up to the chemicals you actually use—plus 25 mil-spec cleaning patches to get you through extended shooting sessions. Everything packs into a heavy-duty nylon pouch that's tapered to sit flush in your stock with zero rattle.
This is purpose-built gear from Brownells, a company that understands what AR shooters actually need. The included instructions walk you through the cleaning process, so whether you're breaking in a new rifle or maintaining a trusted workhorse, you've got a guide. Store it, grab it, use it—no excuses about not having the right tools on hand.
