Brownells
If you're building or refinishing a 1911 and want to step up from standard slotted grip screws, the Brownells 1911 Torx Head Grip Screws are a straightforward upgrade that pays dividends in both function and appearance. This 24-pack of blued screws swaps out easily into factory or aftermarket grip panels, giving your pistol a more refined, personalized look while eliminating the frustration of marred frames and grips.
The Torx (star-shaped) drive geometry is the whole point here: it seats far more positively than a Phillips or flat-blade driver, which means less slipping, less stripped screw heads, and—most importantly—no gouges on your frame or expensive custom grips. Whether you're installing wooden grips on a hard-use carry gun or upgrading to premium scales on a competition 1911, these screws let you tighten confidently without worry. The blued finish ties in with the rest of your pistol's color scheme and resists light corrosion.
Brownells machined and hardened these screws to fit flush with standard 1911 grip panels, so there's no fiddling with length or depth. At 24 per box, you've got plenty for your current project plus spares for future builds or replacements. If you've ever cursed a slipping screwdriver or squinted at the tiny fastener you just dropped, you'll appreciate the upgrade.

This is a 24-pack, which gives you enough screws for multiple 1911 builds and a good supply of spares for future maintenance or replacement.
Yes. Brownells machines and hardens these screws to ensure durability and reliable performance in repeated use.
