The Bootleg Cam-Lok M-Lok 13.5" handguard is a no-nonsense drop-in replacement for AR-15 rifle builders who want a lightweight, free-floating rail without the installation headache. Built from 6061 aluminum and finished in mil-spec hard coat anodize, this handguard delivers the durability you need on the range or in the field while keeping your setup lean. The Cam-Lok system is the star here—it clamps down fast and holds rock-solid, so you spend less time fiddling with your rifle and more time shooting.

At 13.5 inches, this handguard splits the difference between compact and versatile, giving you plenty of real estate for accessories without bloating your profile. The M-LOK mounting standard means compatibility with a massive ecosystem of tactical gear—lights, grips, rail sections, and slings snap on wherever you need them. Whether you're building a recce rifle, a competition gun, or a home-defense AR, this rail gives you the flexibility to configure it your way.

Installation is straightforward: the Cam-Lok design eliminates the fussy barrel nut wrestling that comes with traditional handguards. Just align and clamp. Free-floating means your barrel stays true and your groups stay tight, a proven way to unlock your rifle's accuracy potential. The black anodize looks clean and resists wear—a workhorse finish that doesn't pretend to be fancier than it is.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Cam-Lok system different from a traditional barrel nut?

The Cam-Lok system uses a clamping design that's faster and simpler to install than a standard barrel nut and delta ring. You align the handguard and tighten the clamp—no special tools or extensive disassembly required. It also maintains a free-floating design once installed.

Is this handguard free-floating?

Yes. The free-floating design keeps the barrel isolated from the rail, which helps maintain accuracy by allowing the barrel to vibrate naturally without interference.

What M-LOK accessories can I mount?

M-LOK is an industry standard mounting interface. You can attach any M-LOK-compatible accessory—tactical lights, vertical grips, rail sections, QD sling mounts, and more. Check individual accessory compatibility for fit.

What AR-15 models does this fit?

This handguard is designed for AR-15 rifles. Verify your upper receiver and barrel diameter are compatible with a 13.5" free-float handguard before ordering.
