Bond Arms Inc.
The Bond Roughneck 357/38 2.5" stainless steel derringer with pink wood grips is a compact, no-nonsense sidearm purpose-built for close-quarters defense and backup carry. This single-action, double-barrel handgun combines Bond Arms' proven engineering with a distinctive aesthetic—the rough-finished stainless steel frame and barrel pair unexpectedly well with the vibrant pink wood grips, creating a compact pistol that stands out without sacrificing ruggedness. At 4.5" in overall length and 19 ounces, the Roughneck rides light in a holster or pocket, making it ideal for backup, ankle, or deep-concealment carry where full-size options won't fit.
Built around a stainless steel frame and dual barrels, this derringer chambers both .357 Magnum and .38 Special ammunition, giving you the flexibility to load different rounds in each barrel or stick with your preferred cartridge. The single-action trigger—which breaks at 7 pounds—demands a deliberate press, reinforcing the safe-handling discipline these compact guns require. You get two shots before reloading, a limitation that makes shot placement paramount and keeps your training focused on fundamentals.
Bond Arms engineered the Roughneck with features that matter: a patented rebounding hammer that rebounds after each strike, retracting firing pins for safety, a cross-bolt safety lever, and a spring-loaded cammed locking mechanism that locks the barrels firmly closed. Fixed sights keep the profile low, and the gun accepts all standard Bond Arms replacement barrels, letting you swap calibers down the road if your needs change. The rough steel finish resists glare and won't collect fingerprints like polished metal, a practical touch for a tool designed to be drawn and used under stress.
The pink wood grip scales are unapologetically bold—they mark the Roughneck as a statement piece, not a tool you'd buy for its appearance alone. If you carry a derringer, it's because you understand the trade-offs: capacity for concealability, complexity for reliability. The Roughneck respects both sides of that bargain.

Yes. The Roughneck is compatible with all standard Bond Arms barrel assemblies, so you can change calibers by swapping barrel kits if your needs evolve.
Absolutely. At 4.5" in length and 19 ounces, it's built for situations where a larger gun won't work—ankle carry, pocket carry, or as a backup gun in a purse or vehicle.
The Roughneck ships with fixed sights already installed and pink wood grips in place. For holster recommendations, the rough steel finish works best with smoothed-lined holsters that won't snag on the texture.
Unlike double-action revolvers or semiautos, the Roughneck requires you to manually cock the hammer before each shot. The single-action trigger then breaks at 7 pounds, demanding deliberate, controlled fire—a design that prioritizes safety during carry and quick-draw scenarios.
