Bog-Pod
The BOG-POD Arca-Swiss Optics Plate (Model 1204206) is a quick-change adapter designed to let you swap optics and cameras between Arca-Swiss tripod systems without fumbling with tools or loose mounting hardware. If you're running multiple riflescopes, spotting scopes, or cameras on the same tripod—or rotating gear between platforms—this plate turns that process from a three-minute hassle into a three-second swap. Built from aluminum, it's tough enough for field use while staying light enough that you won't think twice about stashing a few in your range bag or pack.
The 4-inch plate mounts to your optic or camera via a 1/4-20 threaded stud, which is standard on most rifle scope turrets and camera lens collars. A 3/8-16 adapter is included if your gear uses that size instead. Once mounted, the plate slides into any Arca-Swiss clamp or tripod head—including all BOG Deathgrip Infinite and Deathgrip Sherpa models—and locks down rock-solid. Because the plate does the heavy lifting, you can dedicate one to each of your regular optics and have them camera-ready the moment you need to range, spot, or glass.
At just 2 ounces, this isn't a weight penalty. Whether you're glassing for elk at elevation, running a precision rifle prone on a tripod at the range, or filming hunts with multiple camera angles, the speed and reliability of Arca-Swiss quick-change mounts justify their premium over traditional fixed attachments—and this plate makes the system complete.
