The BnM West Point Crappie Reel with Line is built for anglers who target crappie year-round and demand reliable, responsive tackle. This reel comes spooled and ready to fish, eliminating the setup hassle so you can focus on finding fish. Whether you're working shallow brush, docks, or open water, the West Point delivers the sensitivity and smooth operation that separates consistent crappie days from frustrating blanks.
What makes this reel stand out on the water is the audible bait alarm—a feature that tells you exactly when a crappie taps your line, even on light strikes that you might otherwise miss. Combined with anti-reverse technology that locks the spool and prevents unwanted backward movement, you get a reel that responds instantly to bites and holds its ground under tension. The re-tooled gear system provides the smooth, accurate action needed for precise presentations when crappie are feeding.
Crappie fishing rewards precision and attention. The West Point Reel is engineered to keep you connected to every bite, whether you're sight-fishing in clear shallows or working structure in deeper holes. The included line means you're ready to tie on and cast within minutes of unboxing.
Yes. The BnM West Point Crappie Reel arrives spooled with line, so you can set it up and start fishing without additional line or rigging.
The bait alarm is an audible strike indicator that sounds when crappie take your line, even on soft or light bites that you might not feel. This is especially useful when you're fishing multiple rods or watching for subtle feeding activity in shallow water.
Anti-reverse locks the spool so it cannot turn backward. This prevents unwanted reel movement and gives you immediate control when you're setting the hook or fighting a fish.
