Blakemore
The Blakemore Vibe Runner 1/16oz underspin is a lightweight crappie lure built for situations where you need subtle action and finesse. Weighing just 1/16 ounce with a #2 hook, this chartreuse sparkle pattern delivers the compact size crappie expect without sacrificing the vibration and flash that trigger strikes. The combination of a curl tail and brass hammered willow blade creates the dual vibration signature that separates productive crappie lures from the rest—the tail works the water column while the blade generates flash and resonance that pull fish in from distance.
This is a slow-retrieve lure, meaning you'll get the most from it by working it deliberately through shallow brush, around docks, over spawning flats, or along weed edges. The prism eyes add depth to the profile, making the lure appear more lifelike and attracting aggressive strikes during low-light periods or in stained water. At this light weight, it casts easily on light tackle and reaches tight spaces where bigger crappie hide.
Whether you're targeting white crappie in a clear lake or black crappie in darker water, the chartreuse sparkle finish performs across conditions—bright enough to stand out in murky water, natural enough to fool selective fish in clearer situations. A single lure comes in the package, so stock a few of these in your tackle box for different water colors and times of day.
| Weight | 1/16 oz |
| Hook Size | #2 |
| Color | Chartreuse Sparkle |
| Lure Type | Underspin |
| Quantity | 1 |
The Vibe Runner 1/16oz with #2 hook is sized for crappie, making it ideal for both white and black crappie of keeper and trophy sizes. The light weight and small profile appeal to crappie of all sizes but work particularly well when fish are being finicky or in clear water.
Chartreuse performs well across many conditions—use it in stained or murky water where visibility is low and bright colors cut through, or in clearer lakes during low-light periods like dawn, dusk, or overcast days. The sparkle finish adds flash that helps fish locate the lure.
This is a slow-retrieve lure. Fish it deliberately and deliberately—let the tail curl and blade vibration do the work. Fast retrieves will kill the action; slow, steady cranks let the lure's built-in vibration shine.
A 1/16 ounce lure is light enough for ultralight or light spinning gear, making it perfect for sensitive presentations around cover and in shallow water. Pair it with appropriate light line for best casting distance and feel.
