The Blakemore Road Runner Marabou jig is a versatile panfish and bass spinner designed to trigger strikes in shallow water and tight cover. This 1/32 oz underspin jig pairs a painted jig head with a marabou body and small spinner blade—a proven combo that generates the subtle vibrations and flash that crappie, bluegill, and other panfish can't ignore. Two jigs per pack means you can rig multiple rods or have a backup when you're working a productive zone.

Road Runner Marabous work best from late spring through fall, when crappie suspend in vegetation or around downed timber. Cast tight to cover, retrieve slowly with frequent pauses, or vertical jig near brush piles and channel drop-offs. The light weight keeps the profile natural and allows pinpoint accuracy in shallow water and small creeks where oversized lures spook fish.

The white color offers good visibility in stained water and low-light conditions, making it effective on cloudy days or early morning sessions. Like all underspin designs, the Road Runner rides hook-up and resists snagging better than a traditional jig head alone—a practical advantage when fishing crappie structure.
