The BlackPoint Tactical Leather Wing holster for Glock 17/22 bridges the gap between modern retention and traditional comfort. If you carry daily and want the security of a Kydex holster without the harsh dig into your ribs, this hybrid design delivers both—leather wings conform to your body's natural contours while the Kydex shell keeps your gun exactly where you need it, every time you draw.

What makes the Leather Wing different is its seamless fusion of materials. The rigid Kydex retention core gives you the audible click and predictable hold that serious shooters demand, while supple leather wings wrap your waist, molding to your individual shape for an all-day comfortable carry. You get the reliability of pure Kydex with the body-friendly fit of a leather holster—without compromising either one.

Designed for outside-the-waistband (OWB) carry, the Leather Wing sits at a 15-degree forward cant, positioning your grip for a natural draw stroke whether you're drawing from a seated position or standing. The metal OWB loops (1.75") are built tough for duty-grade use and will outlast cheaper plastic attachments. Retention is adjustable, so you can dial in exactly how much resistance you want—tighter for rough carry, looser for speed-focused training runs.

BlackPoint Tactical engineered this holster to solve a real problem: Kydex is fast and secure but punishing on long shifts; traditional leather is forgiving but demands constant re-tightening. The Leather Wing does both.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this holster work with my Glock 17?

Yes. The BlackPoint Tactical Leather Wing is designed to fit the Glock 17, as well as the Glock 22 and 31.

What's the difference between the Leather Wing and a pure Kydex holster?

The Leather Wing combines a Kydex retention shell with leather wings that wrap your waist. You get the security and audible feedback of Kydex with the body-conforming comfort of leather. The wings allow the holster to naturally curve with your torso, reducing pressure points and improving concealment compared to rigid Kydex-only designs.

How do the metal OWB loops attach to my belt?

The holster features 1.75-inch metal OWB loops, which are standard 1.75-inch attachment points compatible with most gun belts and range bags. Metal construction ensures they won't wear or break under regular use.

Can I adjust the retention on this holster?

Yes. Retention is adjustable, so you can tighten or loosen the draw resistance to match your preferences and training style.
