Birchwood Casey
The Birchwood Casey BW2 Bore Weevil 2.0 is a precision bore cleaning tool designed to simplify firearm maintenance across your entire collection. Unlike one-size-fits-all cleaning rods, this pull-through cleaner works on any barrel length and integrates seamlessly with accessories you likely already own—it's threaded for standard 8-32 connections, so your existing patches, brushes, and jags are ready to go out of the box.
What sets the Bore Weevil 2.0 apart is its fully retractable tether system. The cable retracts smoothly after each cleaning pass, eliminating the mess and frustration of managing a long pull cord when you're done. It's a small engineering touch that makes a real difference during routine maintenance, whether you're prepping rifles for the season or running a regular cleaning schedule after range sessions.
The kit includes three quick-attach couplers, giving you flexibility to swap cleaning heads without breaking down your setup. If you shoot multiple calibers or barrel profiles, that versatility cuts your prep time. The patented design reflects Birchwood Casey's focus on making bore cleaning less tedious and more effective—no fumbling, no tangled cables, just straightforward firearm care.

| Thread Standard | 8-32 |
| Included Couplers | 3 |
| Tether | Fully retractable |
| Barrel Compatibility | Any length |
Yes. The BW2 uses standard 8-32 threads, so any 8-32 threaded accessory you already own will attach directly. This includes patches, brushes, jags, and other bore-cleaning heads.
Absolutely. The pull-through design works on barrels of any length, from short pistol barrels to long rifle barrels. You're not limited to a single caliber or platform.
The quick-attach couplers let you swap cleaning heads quickly without unscrewing from the main tool. This speeds up the process if you're switching between different brush types or moving between different firearms.
After you pull the tool through the barrel, the tether retracts automatically, keeping the cable neatly contained. This eliminates the clutter and tangled mess of traditional pull-through cleaners and makes storage simpler.
