The Birchwood Casey Bore Scrubber Foaming Gel Cleaner is a specialized bore cleaning solvent designed to tackle stubborn residue that standard patches and rods struggle to reach. This 11.5 fl. oz. container delivers a foaming gel formulation that clings to barrel walls, giving the solvent time to penetrate and break down carbon buildup, powder residue, copper fouling, lead deposits, and plastic wad material. Whether you're maintaining a hunting rifle after a season in the field, deep-cleaning a range gun that's seen heavy use, or restoring a neglected bore, this cleaner handles the job without requiring highly toxic ingredients.

Birchwood Casey has been manufacturing gun care products since 1948, earning trust among serious shooters, collectors, and gunsmiths for formulations that balance effectiveness with safety. The foaming gel formula is the key innovation here—it doesn't run straight through the bore like thin solvents do. Instead, it adheres to the bore surface, giving it the contact time needed to dissolve stubborn fouling that accumulates over time or heavy use. This is particularly valuable for shooters who reload, hunt with lead bullets, or use shotguns and slug rifles where wad residue can build up.

Use this with standard bore brushes, patches, and cleaning rods as part of your regular maintenance routine or as a dedicated deep-clean product when you notice accuracy degradation or visible fouling. The gel format also means less mess and waste compared to thin solvents that splash and evaporate quickly. Store it properly and it's ready for your next cleaning session.
