Betts Tackle
The Betts Spring Stick Unwgt Cigar float set gives you three unweighted spring-stick floats in a compact, portable zip bag—exactly what you need for freshwater fishing where subtle bobber action and natural presentation matter. These 1 1/2" cigar-shaped floats are designed to stay in position while giving fish minimal resistance when they take the bait, making them ideal for panfish, crappie, and other species that respond to a gentle, lifelike setup. The unweighted design means you control buoyancy entirely through your terminal tackle, giving you flexibility to match different water conditions and bait weights without swapping floats.
Spring-stick floats sit slightly cocked in the water, a characteristic that helps you detect subtle strikes and keeps your bait at a consistent depth. The cigar profile is a classic shape trusted by generations of anglers—it's stable, easy to see, and reliable in both calm ponds and light current. Three floats in the set give you backups and the option to fish multiple rods, all packed in a durable zip bag that keeps them organized in your tackle box or boat bag.
Whether you're working a farm pond for bluegill, setting up a creek rig for crappie, or teaching someone the fundamentals of float fishing, these Betts spring sticks deliver the honest performance and simplicity that have made them a staple for anglers who know that good floats don't need bells and whistles—they just need to work.

These unweighted spring-stick floats work well for panfish like bluegill, sunfish, crappie, and other freshwater species that respond to a natural, light presentation. They're especially effective in ponds, slow creeks, and shallow bays where you want minimal resistance when a fish takes your bait.
Since these floats are unweighted, you control depth entirely through your terminal rig—adjust your sinkers or split shot below the float to set the depth you want. This gives you flexibility to fish different depths without changing floats, just by tweaking your weight distribution.
You get three 1 1/2" cigar-shaped spring-stick floats in a durable zip bag for storage and transport.
Spring-stick floats use a simple coil attachment that slides over your line—no special tools needed. Just insert your line into the spring loop and you're ready to fish.
