Betts Tackle
The Betts Pop-N-Bob Float Weighted 2" 12ct is a dozen classic popper floats designed for panfish, bluegill, and light freshwater fishing. These small weighted floats sit just right in the strike zone, and their distinctive cupped head creates the popping noise and surface disturbance that draws curious fish. Bright fluorescent paint on top keeps them visible in dappled light and across open water—crucial when you're casting to shoreline cover or watching for subtle takes.
Pop-N-Bob floats work best when you're fishing shallow structure: fallen trees, lily pads, reed beds, and weed lines where panfish hunt. The 2-inch size balances visibility with a natural presentation, and the weighting keeps the float stable even when you're working it deliberately. That cupped design isn't just for show—each pop and gurgle mimics struggling insects and baitfish, triggering instinctive strikes from bluegill, sunfish, and bass in the shallows.
At 12 to a pack, you've got enough floats for a solid season of pole and bobber fishing, or to keep a few rigged and ready while you're experimenting with different depths and presentations. Losing a float to snags or a big fish is part of the game, so having backups means you stay fishing instead of rebuilding rigs.
| Size | 2 inches |
| Count | 12 per pack |
| Float Type | Weighted popper |
| Head Style | Cupped |
| Visibility | Fluorescent paint top |
These floats are purpose-built for panfish: bluegill, sunfish, crappie, and shallow-feeding bass. The 2-inch size and popping action work best in water less than 10 feet deep, especially around weeds, brush, and fallen timber.
Cast near structure and let it sit, or gently pop and twitch it to create noise and bubbles. The cupped head does the work—each pop imitates struggling baitfish and draws strikes. Adjust your depth by moving the bobber stop up or down the line.
The cup-shaped design creates both sound and surface disturbance when you work the float. That noise and bubble trail is what triggers strikes—it's active fishing rather than passive bobber watching.
Each pack contains 12 Pop-N-Bob floats, giving you plenty for a full season or to keep rigged with different rigs while experimenting with presentations.
