Betts Tackle
Betts foam float cigars are a workhorse choice for freshwater anglers who want reliable bobber performance without the frustration of breakage or water absorption. These 3-inch foam floats come in a bulk 100-count pack—enough to re-rig a tackle box or share with fishing buddies—and feature a bright yellow finish that's easy to track in varied light. Unlike traditional plastic bobbers that chip, crack, or eventually sink as they waterlog, hard foam construction means these floats stay buoyant and intact through seasons of casting, snagging, and general fishing wear.
The cigar shape is a proven design for slip-bobber rigs and live-bait presentations in ponds, lakes, and slower river sections. The fluorescent yellow color isn't just for show—it cuts through morning glare and late-afternoon shade, letting you keep eyes on your float and react faster to bites. A 100-count box makes sense if you fish regularly, lose a few to snags each season, or rig multiple rods for bluegill, crappie, or bass.
These aren't high-tech floats, and they don't need to be. Foam bobbers have been trusted by generations of anglers because they work. They float high, they last, and a bulk pack means you'll always have spares on hand without worrying about rationing or salvaging damaged gear.
| Float Type | Cigar |
| Length | 3.00" |
| Color | Fluorescent Yellow |
| Material | Hard Foam |
| Count per Pack | 100 |
| Brand | Betts Tackle |
These floats work well for slip-bobber presentations and live-bait rigs in ponds, lakes, and calm water. The cigar shape and size make them suitable for panfish and bass fishing in shallow to moderate depths.
Foam floats won't absorb water over time, so they maintain consistent buoyancy and won't eventually sink. They're also more durable and resist cracking or chipping from impacts and snags, making them a better long-term investment despite their simple design.
Yes. A 100-count pack is ideal for anglers who fish regularly and lose or retire a few bobbers each season due to snags or wear. It's also convenient if you rig multiple rods or want to keep a well-stocked tackle box without needing to reorder often.
The fluorescent yellow finish is designed to remain visible during use; however, like any exposed foam, extended storage in direct sunlight may affect the brightness over time. Storing your floats in a tackle box or bag will preserve the color.
