Bergara
The Berger Match Grade Tactical Bullets in .30 cal, .308" diameter, 230 grain Hybrid OTM are precision rifle reloading components engineered for shooters who demand repeatable accuracy at distance. Whether you're loading for long-range competition, tactical applications, or precision rifle training, these bullets bring match-grade consistency and proven performance to your handloads. Berger's hybrid ogive design—a blend of tangent and secant geometry—reduces wind drift and minimizes seating-depth sensitivity, giving you more forgiveness in your loading window without sacrificing downrange precision.
Built with J4 Precision Jackets, these Open Tip Match (OTM) bullets are manufactured to exacting tolerances that separate true match-grade components from standard production rounds. The hybrid profile is competition-proven, relied on by precision rifle competitors and professional shooters who can't afford flyers or vertical stringing. At 230 grains, this weight is a workhorse for .308 platforms pushing subsonic and transonic velocity envelopes, making it a favorite for both supersonic long-range work and specialized applications where consistent ballistic performance matters.
If you're building precision handloads for a bolt-action .308, AR-10, or dedicated long-range rig, Berger's engineering shows up on paper. These bullets demand care in your reloading process—precise seating depth, quality brass, and attention to your specifics—but that discipline pays dividends in tighter groups and more predictable wind calls downrange.

These .308" diameter bullets work in any .30 caliber rifle—.308 Winchester, .300 Win Mag, .300 Norma Mag, .338 Lapua (via resize), and similar cartridges. Verify your rifle's twist rate and chamber specifications before loading; Berger publishes detailed load data for common .30 cal platforms.
These are match-grade, precision-focused bullets designed for target shooting, competition, and tactical applications. They are not marketed as hunting bullets. If you're loading for hunting, consider Berger's hunting-specific bullet lines instead.
The product listing shows these are sold as individual bullets; order quantities and packaging will depend on your retailer. Check the listing for the specific count (typically 100-count boxes) and any bulk options available.
Berger Match Grade bullets demand precision in your reloading process—quality brass, precise powder charges, and careful seating-depth management. You do not need exotic equipment, but your standard single-stage or progressive press, calipers, and load data (available from Berger) are essential. The hybrid design is more forgiving on seating depth than some profiles, but consistency still matters.
