Bergara
Berger Match Grade 223 Remington 77 grain OTM tactical ammunition is engineered for precision rifle shooters who demand match-grade performance from their AR-platform rifles. This round pairs Berger's renowned 77 grain Open Tip Match bullet with quality brass and proven powders to deliver the consistency that separates acceptable groups from exceptional ones. Whether you're running drills at distance, competing in precision rifle events, or training on your 1:8" or faster twist rifle, this ammunition is built to perform when accuracy matters most.
The 77 grain projectile is a sleek, tangent-ogive design that feeds reliably through magazine-fed systems while delivering a ballistic coefficient that punches above its weight class. With a G7 BC of 0.192 and a muzzle velocity of 2750 fps from standard 223 Remington loads, these rounds maintain a stable trajectory and minimal wind drift at extended distances—a significant advantage for shooters working at distance. The OTM (Open Tip Match) design provides consistent expansion characteristics across impact velocities, making these rounds predictable whether you're testing loads on the bench or executing longer-range field shots.
Berger's match-grade reputation stems from bullet-to-bullet consistency and precision manufacturing. Each box contains 20 rounds, making it practical for training sessions, load development, or match preparation. If your rifle runs a 1:8" twist or faster—which covers most modern AR-15 platforms and many bolt guns—you have a round that was specifically designed with your rifle in mind.

Yes, as long as your barrel has a 1:8" twist rate or faster. The 77 grain bullet requires sufficient twist to stabilize properly. Most modern AR-15 rifles with 1:8" or 1:7" twist barrels are ideal for this load.
OTM (Open Tip Match) ammunition is designed for precision and consistency rather than expansion. The bullet's open tip and match-grade construction make it ideal for target shooting, competitions, and training where repeatable accuracy is the priority. This contrasts with hollow-point or soft-point designs aimed at hunting or tactical expansion.
Yes. The 77 grain projectile carries a G7 BC of 0.192 and launches at 2750 fps, providing a ballistic profile that handles wind and distance well for a 223 Remington round. It's commonly used by precision rifle competitors and long-range training shooters.
