Bergara
The Bergara B-14 Crest Series 7PRC is a purpose-built mountain rifle engineered for backcountry hunters who demand speed, precision, and minimal weight penalty on the trail. Chambered in 7 PRC—a cartridge that delivers flat-shooting performance across extended ranges—this bolt-action rifle pairs a cold-hammer-forged 4140 CrMo steel barrel with a 100% carbon fiber stock designed to shed weight without sacrificing rigidity or field durability. At just 7.2 lbs, the B-14 Crest won't weigh you down during a long hike to a remote basin, yet it remains stable enough for consistent accuracy when the moment arrives.
Build quality reflects Bergara's reputation: the 22-inch barrel wears a durable Sniper Grey Cerakote finish that resists weather and wear, while the carbon fiber stock incorporates a carbon spine for additional strength and consistency shot-to-shot. The 1:8 twist rate is optimized to stabilize a wide range of 7 PRC loads, giving you flexibility in ammunition selection without compromising velocity or accuracy. The rifle ships with an AICS-pattern detachable magazine (5-round capacity), a standard that pairs easily with aftermarket options if your hunting style or future plans demand it.
This is a rifle for hunters serious about covering ground in steep country and making precise shots from unconventional positions. The B-14 Crest doesn't waste ounces on features you won't use; instead, it channels Bergara's engineering into a platform that performs where it counts—when distance, altitude, and conditions test both rifle and shooter.
