Bear Archery
The Bear Traditional Bow Super Grizzly RH50 in Shedua with black stripe is a modern reissue of a classic recurve that earned its reputation among archers who value smooth, predictable shooting over raw speed. First released in the mid-1970s and brought back in 2011, the Super Grizzly trades the hand shock and vibration of single-layer designs for the refined feel that comes from purposeful engineering—specifically, a dual-laminate limb construction that absorbs energy more evenly through the draw and release. If you've shot lighter recurves or grown weary of finger-numbing feedback from entry-level bows, this traditional bow delivers the kind of shooting experience that keeps hunters and target shooters coming back.
Build quality sits at the heart of why this design has endured. The Super Grizzly's limbs use two layers of hard maple laminate, backed and faced with high-strength black fiberglass—a proven combination that provides durability without sacrificing the feel archers prize in traditional bows. The crowned cut-on-center arrow shelf, paired with a leather side plate and genuine bear hair arrow rest, reflects attention to the details that matter at the moment of release. A reinforced tip adds longevity to a bow designed to last decades with proper care.
The bow ships rigged with a Dynaflight 97 Flemish Twist string, so you're ready to start shooting once you bring it home. This is straightforward, no-nonsense traditional archery—the kind that rewards consistent form and lets you focus on hunting, 3D, or range time without distractions.
