Battle Arms Development
The Battle Arms Development Enhanced Pin Set for LR-308/SR-25/AR308 rifles is a precision upgrade designed for shooters who want better control and durability from their .308 platform. If you run a DPMS 308 receiver and are tired of wrestling with sloppy mil-spec pins or worried about marring your receiver during disassembly, this American-made pin set delivers noticeable improvements in grip, durability, and ease of use without oversized heads that get in the way.
BAD engineered these pins with patent-pending head designs that give you substantially better gripping surface and pull strength compared to standard takedown and pivot pins. The pins are CNC machined from steel and case-hardened with mil-spec black manganese phosphate finish for long-term reliability. The extended tips—roughly 0.030" longer than mil-spec—make it easier to push pins out from the left side of the receiver, while cone-shaped bullet tip guides at both ends protect your receiver from accidental scratches or tool slip during field stripping. Low-profile heads mean these pins stay out of the way and won't interfere with ambidextrous safety selectors on the right side.
This is the kind of upgrade that matters if you're swapping uppers frequently, running drills at the range, or just tired of the friction and slop that comes with standard hardware. The set is lightweight (combined weight of just 0.74 oz) and comes complete with hardened stainless steel detents and 17-7 nickel-plated pin springs, so you have everything needed for a clean installation.
