Barnes Bullets
Barnes Tipped TSX (TTSX) bullets for 7mm rifles combine proven copper-alloy construction with a polymer tip designed to extend ballistic coefficient and trigger consistent expansion. These 110-grain .284" projectiles are built for reloaders who demand accuracy and terminal performance on medium to large game. The TTSX line inherits the legendary all-copper design that has earned trust across North American hunting, then adds the tip to improve aerodynamics and initiate expansion more reliably than solid-copper bullets without a tip.
What sets the TTSX apart is its engineering: a re-engineered nose cavity paired with precisely cut grooves in the bullet shank. Those grooves function as relief valves, allowing copper to expand into channels rather than flowing chaotically through the bore. The result is lower pressure during firing—which lets you safely achieve higher velocities—plus reduced copper fouling and improved barrel harmonics. The boat-tail profile further refines ballistics for long-range accuracy. All-copper construction means no fragmentation; the bullet is engineered for deep penetration and excellent weight retention, combining the stopping power hunters expect with the precision reloaders appreciate.
Each box contains 50 bullets, giving you a full reload lot for serious range work or hunting preparation. The 110-grain weight in 7mm makes these versatile across a range of rifle platforms, from short-action to magnum chambers, depending on your load data. These are premium components—plan your reload carefully, follow published data, and you'll have ammunition that shoots true and performs when it counts.
| Caliber | 7mm |
| Bullet Diameter | .284" |
| Weight | 110 grains |
| Style | Tipped TSX, Boat Tail (TTSXFB) |
| Construction | All-copper |
| Quantity Per Box | 50 bullets |
The 7mm .284" diameter fits standard 7mm rifle cartridges. Check your rifle's caliber and consult published reloading data for your specific cartridge before loading. Always use a current, authoritative reloading manual.
The grooves reduce copper fouling buildup in the barrel and lower firing pressure, both of which improve consistency from shot to shot. Lowered pressure also lets you safely increase velocity, which can help with bullet stability at distance.
Barnes TTSX bullets retain more weight after impact and penetrate deeper than comparable lead-core projectiles—reportedly 28% deeper. The all-copper, non-fragmenting design delivers energy through consistent, controlled expansion rather than loss of core material.
These are projectiles sold in bulk boxes for reloaders. You will need to seat them into cartridge cases with powder and primers using standard reloading equipment and published load data.
