Banish
The Banish Devour Suppressor Cover is a 9-inch tan heat shield designed to protect you, your rifle, and your suppressor during and after shooting. If you run a suppressed rifle—especially a bolt-action hunting rig or a semi-auto setup with moderate firing rates—this aramid-fabric wrap solves three problems at once: it keeps your hands safe from suppressor heat, cuts down on optical mirage that degrades sight pictures, and guards against the scratches and dings that accumulate in the field. The cover's industrial silica-coated exterior and adjustable straps make it simple to slip on or off, even when your can is still warm, so you can swap barrels, change shooting positions, or let your suppressor cool without waiting.
Built with lightweight aramid fabric and designed in South Dakota, the Devour is engineered for realistic hunting and range sessions: bolt-action rifles and semi-auto firearms with controlled firing rates. It's not rated for sustained high-volume shooting—think mag dumps or rapid-fire drills on short-barrel 5.56 rifles—but it's more than adequate for hunting applications and deliberate shooting where you allow the suppressor to cool between strings. The cover is rated up to 450°F; you'll reach that threshold after about 20 consecutive rounds through a .308 bolt-action or roughly 30 rounds of 5.56 semi-auto fire, so pace your shots accordingly for best results.
If you've invested in a quality suppressor, the Devour cover pays for itself by extending its lifespan and improving your shooting experience. It's a no-fuss accessory that does its job without adding bulk or complexity—exactly the kind of field-proven detail that separates a well-thought-out suppressed rifle from one that's just got a can bolted on.

No. The Devour is not rated for high rates of fire, mag dumps, or sustained shooting sessions on short-barrel rifles. For the Devour, limit your fire rate to allow the suppressor to cool between shooting cycles.
