Bandit Baits
The Bandit Lure 8-12' 2" 3/8oz Rootbeer is a diving crankbait built for anglers targeting bass, walleye, pike, and other gamefish in freshwater. This hard bait reaches depths of 8 to 12 feet depending on line weight and casting distance, making it effective for probing structure and drop-offs where fish hold. The rootbeer color pattern is a classic choice that works across seasons and water conditions, from clear lakes to slightly stained water where natural forage colors are most effective.
Bandit Baits has engineered this crankbait with a searching swimming action designed to trigger strikes even when fish are neutral. Cast it to specific cover or troll it along ledges and weed lines—the tight wobble and responsive hunting motion draws attention from predatory fish without requiring constant retrieval speed adjustments. Whether you're working shallow grass beds or probing the thermocline on deeper lakes, this lure's versatility makes it a reliable workhorse in any serious angler's tackle box.
Built from quality materials to withstand repeated casting and aggressive fish, the Bandit 300 Series (which this lure is part of) has earned its reputation among freshwater hunters. The rootbeer finish mimics baitfish profiles and appeals to a wide variety of species, making it a smart choice for anglers who want one lure that covers multiple scenarios without the guesswork.
