The Battle Arms Development Enhanced BCG is a precision-built bolt carrier group engineered for shooters who demand reliability and durability in their M4 or M16 platform rifle. Built from quality materials and finished to exacting standards, this BCG combines mil-spec dimensions with upgraded components designed to handle consistent use at the range or in the field. Whether you're running a duty rifle, competition build, or a well-tuned hunting AR, a quality bolt carrier group is the heart of reliable operation—and this one is built to last.

B.A.D. Inc. manufactures each component with attention to material selection and heat treatment. The bolt carrier itself is machined from 8620 steel with case hardening, while the firing pin steps up to 17-4 H-900 steel for enhanced durability. The gas key is billet-machined from 4140 steel with properly staked Grade 8 fasteners, and the cam pin is hardened 4140 as well. The bolt itself is 9130 steel, shot peened to mil-spec dimensions. These material choices reflect a commitment to corrosion resistance and longevity, backed by a black nitride finish across the carrier and a manganese phosphate finish on the extractor for positive grip and protection.

Every detail matters when you're counting on your rifle. This BCG arrives laser-engraved with the B.A.D. Inc. logo and ready to drop into your upper receiver. It's the kind of component that works quietly in the background, cycling reliably while you focus on the shot.

Specifications

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this BCG work with my M4 or M16 rifle?

Yes. The Battle Arms Development Enhanced BCG features mil-spec bolt dimensions and is designed for M4 and M16 platform rifles. It will drop into any upper receiver built to standard specifications.

What makes this BCG different from a standard carrier group?

This BCG uses premium materials throughout—including 8620 case-hardened steel for the carrier, 17-4 H-900 for the firing pin, and hardened 4140 for the gas key and cam pin. Each component is either billet machined or shot peened, and the gas key screws are properly staked. The black nitride and manganese phosphate finishes add corrosion resistance and durability.

Is the gas key properly staked?

Yes. The Grade 8 gas key screws come properly staked from the factory, eliminating a common point of failure and ensuring the gas key remains secure under normal use.
