The Battle Arms Development Bad Bad-ass-lite Ambi 90/60 is a lightweight AR-15 safety selector built for shooters who want speed and control without the extra weight. CNC machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and skeletonized for minimal mass, this ambi safety replaces the factory lever with a precision-engineered upgrade that works just as hard on the left side as it does on the right—ideal for ambidextrous shooters or anyone training both-handed.

What sets it apart is the reversible throw design. The safety core is machined from steel for durability and features two throw-angle options: full 90-degree or short 60-degree. That means you can fine-tune your lever angle based on your grip, hand size, or preference, then swap it out without tools if your needs change. The modular aluminum levers are fully interchangeable, so left-hand and right-hand shooters get genuine ambi functionality, not an afterthought.

The anodized blue finish protects the aluminum while keeping weight low—this isn't a heavy, chunky selector. It's engineered for shooters who understand that every ounce matters, especially on a rifle built for speed or precision work. Drop it into any AR-15 and you'll notice the ergonomic profile immediately: smooth, deliberate, and positive enough to manipulate with a gloved hand or in the heat of training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this safety selector work on both left and right handed AR-15s?

Yes. The Bad Bad-ass-lite Ambi 90/60 is fully ambidextrous. The modular aluminum levers are interchangeable, so you get genuine ambi control on both sides of the rifle, not a one-sided compromise.

Can I switch between the 90-degree and 60-degree throw without replacing the whole selector?

The throw-angle options are built into the reversible steel safety center core. You can swap between 0–90° and 0–60° configurations, though specific swap instructions should be verified with Battle Arms Development.

What's the weight difference compared to a standard AR-15 safety?

The skeletonized billet aluminum construction is designed to be lightweight, but exact weight specifications are not provided. If weight is a critical factor for your build, contact Battle Arms Development directly.

Is this compatible with my AR-15 lower receiver?

This selector is engineered for AR-15 platform rifles. Ensure your lower receiver has a standard safety lever pocket. If you have questions about fitment with a specific lower, reach out to our team.
