Avian X
The Avian-X Top Flight Wood Ducks 6-pack brings realistic wood duck decoys to your spread that blend proven fish-eye detail with genuine durability. Wood ducks—those jewel-toned dabblers that haunt wooded sloughs and backwater areas—respond to decoys that look and behave like actual resting birds, and these six decoys are sized and posed to do exactly that. At 12.5 inches breast to tail, they're slightly overscale, making them more visible across the water and easier to manage when setting and breaking down your rig.
What sets these woodies apart is the combination of advanced molding and finish quality. The rubberized material stands up to the abuse of repeated hunts—dropped in boats, dragged through mud, knocked around in decoy bags—without the chipping and fading that turns a premium decoy into yard clutter. The no-flake paint holds its color season after season, so your flock stays true-to-life rather than sun-bleached and dull. That matters when you're trying to convince a wood duck that your spread is worth investigating.
Three distinct postures—carefully observed from real birds at rest—give your rig the naturalism that triggers commitment. Decoys that all sit identically look wrong to educated waterfowl; variation in head position, body angle, and swim keel design creates the subtle realism that separates a working spread from a collection of plastic yard art. The weight-forward swim keel means these decoys ride and turn realistically on the water, responding to wind and current like actual birds instead of bobbing like corks.
If you're hunting timber or backwater habitat where wood ducks are the target, this six-pack is a complete, reliable foundation for your spread. You'll rotate them through seasons without major maintenance, and they'll hold up to the punishment that comes with serious duck hunting.
