Avian X
The Avian-X Zink Cod goose call brings affordable, realistic waterfowl vocalizations to your spread without requiring years of calling experience. Built from molded polycarbonate, this single-reed goose call balances the natural sound quality hunters demand with a price point that won't drain your budget before duck season opens. The gunsmoke finish is built to handle seasons in the field while keeping a low profile from the sky.
What sets this call apart is its easy-blow sound system—a thoughtful design feature that lets newer callers produce authentic honks and clucks from day one. You don't need a competition-level mouth to sound convincing over decoys; the engineering does the heavy lifting so you can focus on calling technique and wind direction. That accessibility is paired with Zink's reputation for realistic goose vocalizations, refined through years of waterfowl hunting application.
Whether you're working a morning flight over crop fields or setting up a late-season ambush, this is a no-nonsense call that will earn its place in your blind. The polycarbonate construction means it'll take knocks and weather without cracking like acrylic, making it a solid choice for hunters who rotate calls or don't baby their gear.

Yes. The easy-blow sound system is specifically designed so new callers can produce realistic vocalizations without extensive practice. It removes a lot of the technical barrier to sounding convincing over your spread.
Polycarbonate is more impact-resistant and won't crack as easily if dropped or exposed to temperature extremes. Avian-X molded this design after proven custom acrylic calls, so you get similar sound quality with better durability for field use.
The single-reed design is engineered to produce authentic honks and clucks—the fundamental vocalizations you need to work geese over decoys. The easy-blow system makes those sounds accessible even if you're new to waterfowl calling.
The neutral gunsmoke finish keeps the call less visible to birds working your setup, which is always a smart move when geese are approaching your decoys overhead.
