The Auto Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe Thompson .45 ACP rifle brings back the legendary design of one of America's most iconic firearms—now as a semi-automatic carbine built for modern shooters. If you're drawn to historical firearm design, classic lines, and the distinctive character of a Thompson submachine gun platform, this blued-steel rifle delivers authentic period aesthetics with contemporary legal compliance. The 1927A-1 Deluxe sits at the premium end of Thompson reproductions, with genuine American walnut furniture and meticulous attention to the original's proportions and details.

Built on a steel frame and receiver machined from solid stock, the 1927A-1 Deluxe combines heft and durability with a classic fixed walnut stock and grip. The 16.5-inch finned barrel includes a compensator and wears a blued finish that echoes the gun's military heritage. Open adjustable rear and blade front sights provide traditional sight picture. At 13 pounds and 41 inches overall, it's substantial enough to shoot comfortably while the weight soaks up .45 ACP's mild recoil impulse and keeps the gun planted downrange.

What sets the Deluxe apart is the generous magazine package: a 20-round stick magazine for everyday shooting and a 50-round drum—the iconic Thompson silhouette that instantly identifies this gun. The drum adds character and capacity for range sessions, while the stick mag offers a lower-profile option. Whether you're building a collection of American classics, shooting steel, or appreciating the Thompson's legendary ergonomics and historical significance, the 1927A-1 Deluxe delivers the real deal.
