The Auto-Ordnance 1911 Trump Save America Edition is a commemorative .45 ACP pistol built on the proven GI-style platform that has defined reliable sidearms for over a century. This 5-inch-barrel 1911 combines classic 1911 design with custom engraving and patriotic imagery, making it a conversation piece for collectors and shooters who value American-made firearms with historical significance. Whether you're a dedicated 1911 enthusiast, a competitive shooter, or someone drawn to this edition's commemorative appeal, this Auto-Ordnance delivers the ergonomics and straightforward operation that keep the 1911 relevant today.
Built entirely in the USA, the Save America Edition starts with a carbon steel slide and frame with heat-treated sear and disconnector components engineered for durability across thousands of rounds. The distressed armor finish—a combination of Stainless and Armor Black Cerakote—gives the gun a rugged, worn-in aesthetic that reflects its working heritage while protecting against corrosion and daily handling. Low-profile sights (blade front, drift-adjustable rear for windage) keep the top line clean and support both traditional and modern shooting techniques.
The commemorative touches are extensive: presidential imagery and patriotic engravings are laser-etched onto the slide and frame, while custom wooden grips feature the Presidential Seal, campaign imagery, and additional patriotic details. The gun ships with one 7-round magazine and includes thumb safety, grip safety, and firing pin block—all standard 1911 safeties you expect. At 2.3 lbs and 8.6 inches overall length, it balances like a classic full-size 1911: pointable, accurate, and intuitive for anyone familiar with the platform.
This is a limited-run commemorative offering from Kahr Firearms Group's Auto-Ordnance division—not a mass-produced variant. If you appreciate 1911 design, American manufacturing, or historically significant firearms, this edition combines functional reliability with meaningful engravings and imagery.
