Auto Ordnance
The Auto Ordnance 1911 in .45 ACP is a purpose-built defensive and range pistol that carries serious heritage. This Marines Salute to Service variant honors that lineage with custom finishes and engraved grips that celebrate Marine Corps tradition. If you're a Marine veteran, active-duty shooter, or collector who values both function and meaningful design, this 1911 delivers the reliable stopping power of the .45 ACP in a package that tells a story.
The 5-inch barrel strikes the classic balance between velocity, controllability, and concealability—the same geometry that made the 1911 America's most trusted sidearm for over a century. The two-tone Cerakote finish (midnight blue slide paired with stormtrooper white frame) echoes Marine dress uniforms, while the engraved wood grips depict both historical and modern Marine imagery, bridging the past and present. Sights are straightforward and combat-proven: a blade front sight with a drift-adjustable rear for windage, allowing you to dial in your point of aim at the range or in the field.
At 2.3 pounds unloaded, this .45 ACP sits in the sweet spot for all-day carry or range sessions. The included 7-round magazine gives you a full combat load, and the .45 ACP round remains one of the most respected defensive cartridges in America. Whether you're running drills at the range, carrying professionally, or adding to a collection with personal meaning, this Auto Ordnance 1911 combines functional design with authentic military tribute.
