The Auto Ordnance 1911 .45 ACP 4.25" pistol in black is a no-nonsense carry and duty gun built on proven GI specs. This Commander-length 1911 strips away the frills and delivers the reliable, straightforward operation that has made the platform an American standard for over a century. Whether you're looking for a compact .45 for concealed carry, a truck gun, or a dependable range workhorse, the 1911BKOC offers genuine 1911 ergonomics and controls in a manageable package.
Built entirely in the USA, this Auto Ordnance 1911 features a matte black carbon steel slide and frame machined from solid bar stock and heat-treated for durability. The sights are kept simple—a blade front and drift-adjustable rear for windage—giving you a clean sight picture without adding bulk. Safety features include a thumb safety, grip safety, and firing pin block, so you get modern protection without departing from classic 1911 design. Brown checkered plastic grips provide secure handling in wet conditions.
At 8.5 inches overall and 39 ounces, the 4.25-inch barrel strikes a practical balance between shootability and concealability. This is a 1911 that works—not a showpiece. It ships with one 7-round magazine and is backed by a 1-year warranty.
