The ATN Thor LTV 3-9x19mm thermal rifle scope brings affordable thermal imaging to the field, giving hunters and shooters the advantage of seeing heat signatures in complete darkness. Designed for tactical and hunting applications where temperature contrast matters more than ambient light, this scope delivers reliable thermal detection across a range of magnifications without requiring expensive mounting solutions or excessive training to operate effectively.

Built with a 320x240 resolution sensor, the Thor LTV provides the thermal clarity hunters need to identify game and distinguish targets from background clutter in low-light and no-light conditions. The 3-9x magnification range keeps your field of view wide enough for active hunting scenarios while still allowing precision aiming at distance. The illuminated multi-reticle system gives you flexibility to choose the aiming point that suits your hunting style and ammunition, whether you're glassing open country or moving through brush.

Thermal imaging eliminates guesswork in poor visibility—fog, rain, dust, and dense cover that would blind conventional optics become transparent to heat-seeking glass. If you hunt coyotes, hogs, or varmints at dawn, dusk, or in truly dark conditions, or if you simply want the edge that thermal gives on the range or in the field, the Thor LTV makes that technology accessible without the premium price tag of higher-end thermal systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a thermal scope for hunting in daylight or low-light conditions?

Thermal imaging works by detecting heat signatures, so it performs in any lighting condition—bright sun, overcast sky, fog, or total darkness. Many hunters use thermal scopes for both day and night hunting because the technology doesn't rely on visible light the way conventional scopes do.

What's the difference between thermal and night vision?

Thermal imaging detects infrared radiation (heat) emitted or reflected by objects, so it works in complete darkness and through obscuration like fog and smoke. Night vision amplifies existing light and requires at least some ambient light to function. Thermal is independent of light conditions; night vision is not.

What does the 320x240 resolution mean for hunting performance?

Resolution describes the pixel density of the thermal image. A 320x240 sensor provides clear enough detail to identify game animals and distinguish targets from background at typical hunting ranges, striking a balance between thermal detection capability and system cost.

Is the reticle adjustable for different rifles or ammunition?

The scope features an illuminated multi-reticle system, giving you choice among reticle patterns. For windage and elevation adjustments specific to your rifle and load, consult the manual or a qualified gunsmith.
