The ATN Thor 5 thermal rifle scope 2-16x with laser rangefinder puts advanced night hunting optics in your hands—combining a next-generation thermal sensor, integrated ballistics calculator, and built-in laser rangefinder to extend your effective range and precision. Whether you're hunting hogs in the dark, running tactical drills, or pushing shots to 1,000 yards, this 2-16x magnification thermal scope delivers the speed and accuracy modern hunters and shooters demand. The Gen 5 platform brings a 12-micron thermal sensor, a quad-core processor, and a high-resolution OLED display that cuts through low-light conditions with clarity and color depth your older optics simply can't match.

What sets the Thor 5 apart is the integrated laser rangefinder and onboard ballistic calculator—technology that has historically been reserved for premium long-range systems. Dial in distance, account for environmental variables, and your Smart Mil-Dot reticle guides you to the shot. Built-in video recording, multiple firing profiles, One Shot Zero, and a custom reticle builder mean you can tailor the scope to your specific rifle setup and hunting style. The 640x480 resolution keeps details crisp at all magnifications, while the smaller profile and standard 30mm ring mount fit into most modern rifle platforms without hassle.

Battery life is rated for extended field sessions, and the scope pairs with ATN's mobile app (iOS and Android) for wireless control and real-time data logging. For hunters and marksmen who need to stretch distances and eliminate guesswork, the Thor 5 thermal rifle scope combines sensor technology, smart ballistics, and rugged design in one system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the rangefinder on the ATN Thor 5 thermal scope used for?

The built-in laser rangefinder measures distance up to 1,000 yards and feeds that data directly to the onboard ballistic calculator. That removes the guesswork from long-range hunting—the scope accounts for range, and its smart reticle helps guide you to the hold point for the shot.

Can I use the ATN Thor 5 thermal scope during the day?

Yes. The Gen 5 sensor and quad-core processor are designed to deliver usable thermal imagery in both daylight and low-light conditions. The high-resolution OLED display gives you clear detail whether you're glassing at dawn or hunting after dark.

What accessories are available for the Thor 5?

ATN offers the X-TRAC 5 wireless controller (Bluetooth control via your smartphone), the Low Profile Quick Detach Mount (LPQDM) for fast scope switching between rifles, and an extended battery pack rated for 16+ hours of continuous use that also charges other devices.

Does the Thor 5 work with my standard rifle mount?

The Thor 5 is designed for standard 30mm scope rings, which fit most modern rifles. For quick-switching between firearms, ATN's optional Low Profile Quick Detach Mount (LPQDM) allows rapid scope transfer between rifles while preserving your zero and profiles.
