The ATI GSG-16 .22LR AR-15 carbine brings affordable, low-recoil fun to shooters who want an AR-platform rifle without breaking the bank or your shoulder. Built on the proven GSG operating system and dressed in tactical green, this lightweight .22LR is perfect for plinking, training, introducing new shooters to AR ergonomics, or just putting rounds downrange without the expense and noise of centerfire. At 5.84 pounds unloaded, it's nimble enough for a day in the field, and the modular design means you can accessorize it like any other AR-15-pattern gun.

The GSG-16 keeps things simple where it matters. The 16.25-inch barrel and collapsible stock give you flexibility: extended to 34.25 inches for a full carbine feel, or collapsed to 28.5 inches for tighter spaces. An ambidextrous charging handle means lefties and righties both get a comfortable work-around. The quick-acquisition front and rear sights are straightforward and fast, and the picatinny rails mounted on the M-LOK handguard let you add optics or lights as your needs evolve. The included 22-round magazine is compatible with GSG-5/522 stick and rotary mags, so if you've got surplus GSG hardware lying around, it'll work here.

One smart touch: the collapsible stock doubles as a magazine storage compartment, so you can stash a spare or two right in the buttstock. The faux suppressor gives it a finished tactical look without the NFA hassle. Keep in mind this rifle runs best on high-velocity .22LR ammunition (1260 fps recommended) and sports a crisp 5.5-pound trigger. Whether you're a dedicated .22 competitor, a budget-conscious rifle builder, or someone who just enjoys low-stress trigger time, the GSG-16 earns its place in a well-rounded battery.
