Athlon Optics
The Athlon Midas Flare 5x prism sight brings compact, tough optics to shooters who need fast target acquisition without the bulk of traditional rifle scopes. Built around a prism-based design, this 5X magnification sight delivers a crisp, vivid image in a smaller footprint—ideal for hunting, tactical carbines, or any platform where real estate on the rail is at a premium. The prism construction maintains optical quality while keeping weight and length down, so you get the magnification without the compromise.
Reliability matters in the field. The Midas Flare is nitrogen-filled to stay fog-proof in temperature swings, and it's engineered to handle the recoil and rough treatment that comes with serious use. The selectable red and green illuminated reticle gives you flexibility in different light conditions—dawn woods, overcast ranges, bright sun—with multiple intensity levels to dial in what works for your eyes and environment. Since the reticle is etched directly onto the glass, your point-of-aim stays consistent whether you run the illumination on or off. No batteries dead, no problem; the etched reticle keeps you in the fight.
This is a no-fuss optic built for hunters and shooters who prioritize speed and durability at short to medium ranges. The compact prism design means lighter gun handling, faster transitions between targets, and the kind of ruggedness that doesn't ask for special care.
| Magnification | 5X |
| Optic Type | Prism Sight |
| Reticle | Selectable Red/Green Illuminated, Etched on Glass |
| Reticle Intensity | Multiple Levels |
| Fog-Proof | Nitrogen-Filled |
| Shock-Proof | Yes |
Prism sights are more compact and lighter without losing optical quality, making them ideal for carbines and tactical rifles where rail space is limited. The Midas Flare's 5X magnification in a smaller package means faster handling and quicker target transitions at the ranges where you'll actually use it—short to medium distances.
No. The reticle is etched directly onto the glass, so it's always visible whether the illumination is on or off. You'll never lose your aiming point.
The Midas Flare is nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging across temperature swings, and it's built shock-proof to withstand recoil and field handling. It's designed to work reliably in a wide range of environments without babying.
Yes. The sight features a selectable red and green illuminated reticle with multiple intensity levels, so you can match it to your lighting conditions and personal preference.
