Arsenal, Inc.
The Arsenal Sam7Uf 7.62x39 rifle with 16.3" barrel represents a serious step up in AK-pattern rifle design—built on decades of battle-proven platform fundamentals but engineered with refinements that matter in the field. This is an American-imported, semi-automatic rifle that combines Bulgarian forging excellence with modern ergonomics, making it a standout choice for shooters who want reliability without compromise or hype.
At the heart of the Sam7Uf is Arsenal's proprietary milled receiver, forged from a hot-die hammer-forged blank by Arsenal Bulgaria rather than machined from bar stock. This process—requiring over 5.5 hours of precision milling per receiver—produces finer-grained steel with eliminated voids and cooling deformations. The cold hammer-forged 16.3" barrel comes from Arsenal's Bulgarian factory, built on proven Steyr manufacturing technology, with a hard-chrome plated bore and chamber for longevity and corrosion resistance. The 14x1mm left-hand threaded muzzle accepts the included muzzle nut, and there's a bayonet/accessory lug for traditional AK mounting options.
What sets this rifle apart for the shooter is the reinforced under-folding buttstock—a straight-back design that locks perpendicular to the receiver and bore with four solid pins on both sides. This dual-side locking delivers the firm, stable platform that tilt-down stocks simply can't match, reducing felt recoil climb and improving shot control. The rifle ships with FIME's Enhanced Fire Control Group, engineered with shortened trigger travel, smooth light trigger pull, and a full-contact disconnector that eliminates trigger slap entirely. Gray polymer furniture and handguards, a gray 10-round magazine, cleaning rod, oil bottle, and cleaning kit round out the package. It accepts standard mil-spec magazines and is 922(r) compliant.
