Armaspec
The Armaspec ECB Slant Kit is a replacement magazine release button designed to improve handling comfort and speed on your AR-15 or compatible platform. Unlike the standard factory button, the slant design angles to match your index finger's natural trajectory, letting you drop and reload magazines with less thumb strain and more intuitive control. It's a small upgrade that pays dividends during long range sessions, training days, or when you're running drills and muscle memory matters.
Made in the USA with a textured surface for positive grip, the ECB Slant maintains the same footprint as OEM buttons so it drops into your existing lower receiver without any fitting or gunsmithing. The modest profile keeps your controls clean and snag-free, whether you're carrying in a duty rig, hunting in brush, or setting up at the bench. This is the kind of refinement that competitive shooters and serious ammo burners reach for when they're tired of fighting their ergonomics.
If you've never paid attention to how your thumb moves during reloads, installing one of these will make you wonder why every factory button isn't shaped this way. It's a fast, reversible mod with zero permanent changes to your rifle.
The ECB Slant Kit uses the same footprint as a standard OEM magazine release button, so it's compatible with any AR-15 or variant that accepts a standard factory button without modification.
No. The button drops into place just like the factory version—no gunsmithing or alterations needed. If you've ever swapped a standard mag release, you can install this one.
The angled profile aligns with how your thumb naturally presses during a magazine change, reducing fatigue and making the motion more instinctive. It's especially noticeable during high-round-count training or competition.
