Arisaka Defense
The Arisaka Offset Scout Mount for Keymod is a low-profile mounting solution purpose-built to attach tactical weapon lights to Keymod handguards without eating up rail real estate or creating unnecessary bulk. If you're running a modern Keymod rail system and want a scout-style light that sits close to the handguard in an ergonomic 45-degree offset—rather than top-rail mounted—this is your answer. It's engineered for shooters who demand clean lines and functional positioning on the side of the gun.
The mount uses BCM's inverted Keymod screws to achieve a slender 0.20-inch profile, so it won't interfere with your existing accessories or front sight post. When oriented to the side mounting surfaces of a Keymod handguard, the light positions at approximately 1:30 or 10:30 o'clock (pointing upward) or 4:30 to 6:30 o'clock (pointing downward)—traditional scout light positioning that keeps your light where you need it without obstruction. Three lateral mounting positions let you dial in exactly how far the light body sits from the top rail, front sights, or other gear; you get roughly a quarter-inch of adjustment across those three positions.
Compatibility is broad: the mount works with Surefire Scout lights (M300 and M600 series), Modlite PLH and OKW heads, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount series (non-laser HL-X included), Olight Odin, CD REIN, and the full Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 series light bodies. It's confirmed to fit BCM KMR and KAC URX4 handguards; note that Aero Precision Enhanced Gen 2, SIG MPX, and MCX profiles are not compatible unless you're running the round suppressor-width variant. Made in the USA and built to exacting standards, this is the scout mount for shooters who refused to compromise when their Keymod rail came without a proper light solution.
| Length | 1.265 inches |
| Weight | 0.4 oz |
| Hardware Included | Two BCM inverted Keymod screws, two 8-32x5/16" Torx flat head screws |
| Rail Type | Keymod |
| Lateral Adjustment Range | Approximately 0.240 inches across three positions |
The mount is compatible with Surefire M300 and M600 series lights, Modlite PLH, PLHv2, and OKW heads, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X (non-laser), Olight Odin, CD REIN, and the full Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 series light bodies.
The mount is confirmed to fit BCM KMR and KAC URX4 handguards and most standard Keymod profiles. It will not fit Aero Precision Enhanced Gen 2, SIG MPX, or MCX handguards, unless you're using the round suppressor-width MCX variant.
The mount measures just 0.20 inches thick thanks to its inverted Keymod fastener design. It offers three lateral mounting positions spanning approximately 0.24 inches, allowing you to adjust how close the light sits to the rail and sights. Using Arisaka 300 or 600 series light bodies provides even more clearance for larger front sight posts.
The mount ships with two BCM inverted Keymod screws and two 8-32x5/16" Torx flat head screws for attaching your light head.
