Arisaka Defense
The Arisaka Defense Offset Plate for Sig Romeo 1/1 Pro is a modular mounting solution built for shooters who run a magnified optic on top and want to add a secondary red dot sight without the hassle of switching out components. Designed specifically for 1.5" to 1.8" scope mounts, this offset plate lets you mount your Sig Romeo sight at an angle—either 35 or 45 degrees—so it sits clear of your scope turrets and still stays zeroed to your bore when canted into use. It's the kind of practical two-gun system that makes sense for hunting, competition, or carbine work where you want both close-range and precision aiming options.
What makes Arisaka's approach smart is modularity. The base and optic plates are reversible, so you can run the sight on your dominant or support side depending on your setup. If you later swap to a different red dot, you don't have to replace the entire mount—just grab the correct plate for that optic and you're done. The offset positioning is the real value here: a 35-degree angle brings your dot closer to slimmer, smaller scopes, while the 45-degree setup gives you clearance around chunkier turrets and higher-magnification glass. Either way, your sight maintains a lower 1/3 co-witness height, keeping you on target without fighting the scope.
Built from 6061-T6 aluminum with MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodizing, this mount is CNC machined to Arisaka's usual tight tolerances. It weighs just 1.9 oz (optic not included) and seats on the top Picatinny rail of your AR15 using three slots with twin recoil lugs and a clamping screw. The base stands 0.180" above the rail, keeping your height of eye reasonable. You'll get the Torx Plus bit drivers needed for installation.
