APEX TACTICAL SPECIALTIES
The Apex Tactical Specialties Action Enhancement Trigger Kit transforms the trigger experience on your S&W M&P 9mm or .40 S&W duty or carry pistol. If you've run factory M&P triggers and wished for something sharper and more responsive, this kit replaces the OEM sear and trigger assembly with machined components that deliver a noticeably lighter, smoother pull with a shorter reset. The result is a trigger that rewards precise shooting without compromising safety for duty, competition, or everyday carry.
Built around a rounded, machined aluminum trigger shoe, the kit provides a comfortable and secure contact point for your trigger finger—the kind of ergonomic detail that matters when you're running drills or carrying daily. The trigger pull weight drops to 5 to 5-1/2 pounds, a meaningful step up from stock, while pre- and over-travel are reduced by as much as 20 percent. The center-mounted pivoting safety keeps factory safety functionality intact, so you're not sacrificing security for performance.
The kit arrives complete: trigger, heavy-duty sear spring, machined sear, duty/carry spring set, Ultimate Striker Block Kit, and slave pin for trigger return spring installation. Designed to fit all standard S&W M&P pistols chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W, it's a straightforward upgrade that usually functions as a drop-in. That said, Apex recommends having an armorer or gunsmith handle the swap to ensure proper installation and function.
