The AmeriGlo GL816 Trooper Sight Set for Glock brings tritium-powered visibility to your handgun regardless of light conditions. Whether you're training at the range, carrying for duty, or practicing defensive shooting, these iron sights give you a reliable aiming reference that works in darkness, low light, and daylight. The green tritium lamps paired with contrasting front and rear outlines make target acquisition intuitive and fast—no batteries required, no electronics to fail.

This sight set pairs a green tritium front sight with an orange outline for high contrast against most backgrounds, while the rear features green tritium with a black outline for a classic sight picture. The LumiGreen paint adds another layer of visibility, glowing brightly for up to 10 minutes after light exposure to give you a fighting chance in surprise low-light situations. Designed specifically for Glock pistols, the GL816 fits your gun without modification.

AmeriGlo has built its reputation on tritium sights that hold up to real use—no cosmetic flourishes, just functional illumination when you need it most. These sights are built for shooters who treat their optics as tools, not accessories. If you're upgrading from your factory Glock sights or want reliable night-capable iron sights for a duty or carry pistol, this set delivers proven performance at a fair value.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Glock models does the GL816 fit?

The GL816 is designed for Glock pistols and requires no modification to install. Consult AmeriGlo's compatibility chart or contact our team if you're unsure whether this set fits your specific Glock model.

Do these sights work in daylight?

Yes. The tritium lamps glow in darkness, but the contrasting outlines (orange on front, black on rear) are fully visible in daylight as well. These sights perform across all lighting conditions—they're not limited to low light.

How long does the tritium stay bright?

Tritium has a long service life and will glow in darkness for many years. The LumiGreen paint, which glows for up to 10 minutes after light exposure, adds extra visibility in surprise low-light moments but is not a substitute for the continuous glow of the tritium itself.

What's included in the set?

The GL816 includes one front sight and one rear sight, ready to install on your Glock pistol.
