AmeriGlo
The AmeriGlo GL611 is an optic-compatible XL tall sight set engineered for Glock MOS (Modular Optic System) pistols that are already equipped with slide-mounted red dot optics. These sights deliver an elevated co-witness sight picture, which means they sit tall enough to be visible and usable through the window of modern optics like the Aimpoint Acro, Holosun 509T, and Steiner MPS—giving you a reliable backup aiming solution without removing or blocking your primary glass. Built for shooters who demand redundancy in a modern setup, the GL611 combines self-illuminating tritium technology with a practical tall profile.
The front sight features a bright green tritium element with Lumigreen outline, engineered for fast target acquisition in low-light conditions while remaining visible in daylight. The rear sight is a flat-black design with a square notch, kept minimal so it won't interfere with your optic's view. Both sights are case-hardened for durability through heavy use and carry. The XL height—0.315" front and 0.394" rear—is optimized specifically for Gen 4 and Gen 5 Glock MOS slides, ensuring proper sight picture alignment with common mounted optics.
This is a complete set-and-install solution for serious shooters running optics on their Glocks who refuse to bet their carry or defensive pistol entirely on an electronic sight. The AmeriGlo GL611 turns your backup sights into a genuine aiming system, not an afterthought.

While the sights are functional, they're optimized as a backup system for pistols already equipped with slide optics. If you're running irons only, you may want to consider whether the XL height profile suits your primary aiming style.
These sights fit all Glock MOS models, which include recent Gen 4 and Gen 5 full-size and compact pistols with the Modular Optic System. Your Glock must have the MOS slide to accept these sights. If you're unsure whether your Glock has MOS, check the slide for the mounting pattern or contact us with your model number.
Yes—that's the point. The XL height co-witness is designed so the sights remain visible and usable while looking through optics like the Aimpoint Acro, Holosun 509T, and Steiner MPS. Your sight picture will appear in the lower portion of the optic's window, allowing you to aim through the optic without obstruction.
Tritium is a self-illuminating isotope that glows without batteries or external light. The green tritium front sight with Lumigreen outline on this set will be visible in darkness and remain visible in daylight without excessive glare. The rear sight is flat black for contrast and quick acquisition on the front sight.
