The American Defense Delta 34mm scope mount is a cantilever-style optics mounting solution purpose-built for AR-15 flat-top receivers. If you're running modern tactical glass, running night vision, or need to wear a gas mask while shooting, the Delta's 1.7" height positions your sight line correctly for all three scenarios—a real advantage on a rifle you actually use instead of just bench it. The 4.4" ring spacing and 2" of built-in eye relief give you flexibility in how you set up your glass and where you place it on the rail.

American Defense machines the Delta from 6061-T6 aluminum and applies hard-coat Mil-Spec Type III anodizing, so it'll handle field use without babying. The horizontal split rings clamp your scope securely, and the QD Auto Lock Lever system locks up on both in-spec and slightly out-of-spec Picatinny rails—a practical detail if your receiver has any tolerance variation. Adjustment requires nothing exotic: a finger or a flat-blade screwdriver does the job, and you can orient the lever to lock toward the front or rear of the mount depending on your setup.

Whether you're building a long-range hunting AR, outfitting a duty rifle, or setting up a precision flat-top for serious work, the Delta delivers the durability and thoughtful engineering American Defense is known for. It's the kind of mount that stays put and doesn't make you second-guess your optics platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount fit my AR-15?

The Delta is designed for AR-15 flat-top receivers with standard Picatinny rails. The QD Auto Lock Lever works with both in-spec and slightly out-of-spec rail systems, which handles most variations you'll encounter in the field.

Is this mount tall enough for a thermal device or night vision?

Yes. At 1.7" height, the Delta clears most common auxiliary devices mounted under your scope, and the height is also compatible with gas mask wear—a practical consideration for training or professional use.

What scope size does this mount accept?

The Delta features 34mm horizontal split rings, so it's designed for 34mm scope tubes. The 4.4" ring spacing accommodates standard modern optics in that diameter.

Do I need any special tools to adjust or mount this?

No. The Delta can be adjusted and tightened with your finger or a standard flat-blade screwdriver. You can also orient the QD lever to lock toward the front or rear of the mount, depending on your preference.
