Allen Company
The Allen Ultrax 4113 stereo earmuffs deliver serious hearing protection without isolating you from what's happening around you. Built for shooters, hunters, and anyone working in loud environments, these electronic earmuffs use dual stereo microphones to amplify ambient sound while blocking dangerous noise spikes. That means you can hear conversation, game movement, or range commands clearly—until a gunshot or power tool crosses the threshold and the muffs clamp down.
What makes the Ultrax 4113 stand out is that combination of passive and active protection. You get a 24dB noise reduction rating (NRR) that meets ANSI S3.19 standards, so you're covered for everything from the shooting bench to construction sites. The built-in microphones automatically shut off at 82dB, adding an extra layer of safeguarding when things get loud fast. Powered by two AAA batteries, they run for extended sessions without eating through your battery supply. And if portability matters—whether you're moving between ranges or stashing gear in a truck—these fold down compact enough to slip into a range bag.
The olive green finish blends into outdoor settings and hunting camps. No fancy gimmicks, no overbuilt headband that leaves your ears sore after three hours. Just straightforward, reliable hearing protection that lets you stay aware of your environment instead of locking you in silence.

Yes. With a 24dB NRR and ANSI S3.19 certification, they provide solid hearing protection for range shooting and hunting. The stereo microphones let you hear commands or other shooters, and the automatic shutoff at 82dB protects against sudden gunshot noise.
No. The Ultrax 4113 is powered by 2 AAA batteries, which you'll need to supply separately. Once installed, they deliver extended runtime for all-day use.
The Ultrax 4113 combines both. The earmuff cups provide passive noise blocking (the 24dB rating). The stereo microphones add active protection by amplifying quiet sounds so you stay aware, then shutting down when loud impulses (like gunfire) hit 82dB, preventing hearing damage.
Yes. The Ultrax 4113 has a compact, foldable design that makes it easy to pack and transport, so they won't take up much space whether you're heading to the range, hunting, or a job site.
