Allen Company
The Allen Company Soft Rock Shooting Rest is a lightweight foam rest designed to give you a stable, scratch-free shooting platform at the range, in the hunting blind, or off the hood of your truck. Whether you're sighting in a new rifle, practicing precision shooting, or hunting from a fixed position, this solo rest provides two adjustable heights—4.5 inches and 6.5 inches—so you can dial in the elevation that works for your setup and your firearm.
Built from closed-cell foam, the Soft Rock Rest stays rigid enough to support solid shooting but soft enough to protect your rifle's finish and any surface you set it on. The moisture-resistant foam construction means it holds up in field conditions without absorbing water or degrading, and at just 2.2 ounces, it's easy to pack along whether you're heading to the range or into the field. Made in the USA, it's the kind of straightforward shooting accessory that does one job well—and doesn't take up space or weight in your gear bag.
This is a no-frills, no-fancy-features rest for shooters who want a dependable platform without the bulk of a full tripod or bench. It's equally at home steadying your rifle on a shooting bench, leveling things out from an awkward truck hood angle, or providing a stable rest in a hunting blind where you need compact, lightweight gear.
