The Allen 13170 firearm sock is a smart, no-fuss way to protect your handgun during storage and transport. Built from stretch knit fabric with silicone treatment, this gray gun sock slides over pistols up to 14 inches long and 3.75 inches wide, shielding them from dust, dings, and scratches without the bulk of a hard case. Whether you're organizing a gun safe, stashing gear in a range bag, or rotating firearms between your cabinet and the field, a quality gun sock keeps your finish intact and your collection organized.
The stretch knit design means no fighting with tight openings or rigid sleeves—just slide your handgun in and go. The silicone treatment provides short-term corrosion protection, making this an ideal first layer of defense for guns in climate-controlled storage or frequent-use rotation. At just 0.25 inches thick when fitted, it adds virtually no volume to your safe or bag, so you can protect more guns without sacrificing space.
What sets this sock apart is the writeable ID label printed right on the fabric. Label yours by caliber, name, or role (duty gun, competition, backup, etc.) so you grab the right firearm the first time, especially handy when you're managing multiple platforms. The label is customizable with permanent marker, making it easy to update your system as your collection grows.

The Allen 13170 accommodates handguns up to 14 inches long and 3.75 inches wide, covering most common pistols and compact to mid-size revolvers. The stretch knit adapts to slight variations in profile, so a wide-slide pistol near that maximum will fit, though snugly.
The silicone treatment provides short-term protection against dust and light corrosion, making it ideal for storage in climate-controlled gun safes and cabinets. For long-term storage or humid environments, pair it with desiccant packs or consider it a first layer of defense rather than your only protection.
Yes—the label is writeable, so you can use a permanent marker to customize it with caliber, gun name, or any other identifier. You can update the label by marking over previous entries as your collection or role assignments change.
No. At just 0.25 inches thick when fitted, the sock adds virtually no volume. It slides easily into gun safes, multi-gun cabinets, range bags, and protective cases without eating up valuable space, so you can protect more firearms in the same footprint.
