The Allen 13105 Extra Wide Firearm Sock is a 52-inch knit gun sock designed to protect rifles equipped with modern optics and tall scope configurations. Built from silicone-treated knit fabric, it keeps your scoped rifle safe during storage and transport without trapping moisture that can promote rust and corrosion—a crucial advantage over cotton socks or basic soft cases for hunters and shooters who spend time in damp conditions or need dependable gear storage between trips.
This extra-wide firearm sock accommodates rifles with larger-diameter scopes and elevated mounting systems that standard-size socks can't handle. The 52-inch length and oversized profile let you slide in your rifle without forcing it through a restrictive opening, which means less risk of bumping your optics or scratching your finish. The drawstring closure keeps everything snug and secure once your gun is inside, preventing the sock from shifting during transport in a truck bed, gun case, or safe.
Built for hunters, range shooters, and anyone who values lightweight, no-fuss gun protection, the Allen sock is equally at home in a truck during rifle season or on the shelf between range sessions. The silicone treatment works to repel moisture while maintaining breathability—far better than plastic wrap or uncoated fabric for long-term storage. At just 4.5 inches wide, it won't bulk up your gear bag or safe, but it'll add years to your firearm's finish.

Yes. The Allen 13105 is specifically designed as an extra-wide firearm sock to accommodate rifles with tall or large-diameter scopes. The 52-inch length and oversized profile handle rifles equipped with modern optics and elevated mount systems.
The silicone treatment repels moisture and won't hold water, which reduces the environment for rust formation. It's not a rust-preventative coating, but the moisture-resistant design helps protect your gun during storage and transport, especially in humid or damp conditions.
You receive the Allen 13105 Extra Wide Firearm Sock with a drawstring closure. No other accessories are included.
Yes. The sock fits most rifles with or without scopes. The extra-wide design makes it equally practical for standard rifles, though the 52-inch length is optimized for scoped rifles and will hang loose on shorter, unscoped firearms.
