The ALG Quality Mil-Spec Trigger is a precision-honed trigger and hammer kit built for shooters who want a noticeably smoother, lighter pull without abandoning the proven geometry of a standard AR-pattern trigger. If you're an armorer, builder, or shooter who values familiarity and reliability, this is a no-fuss upgrade: it maintains the configuration you already know, so installation and tuning work just like a stock mil-spec setup, only better.

ALG Defense engineered the QMS by carefully prepping military-grade components and honing the sear contact surface to reduce friction and drag. The result is a pull weight that averages around 6½ lbs—noticeably crisper than factory mil-spec without sacrificing the rock-solid repeatability that made mil-spec triggers the standard in the first place. These are "enhanced standard" parts, not a radical redesign; your upper, lower, and existing knowledge all stay in play.

Built tough for hard use, the QMS delivers the smoother break and lighter trigger control that skilled shooters demand, whether you're running a duty rifle, a precision AR, or a workhorse build. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with a standard trigger group swap, and the mil-spec footprint means zero compatibility surprises.

How does the pull weight compare to a standard mil-spec trigger?

The QMS is honed to average around 6½ lbs, noticeably lighter and smoother than typical factory mil-spec triggers, while keeping the same proven geometry and reliability.

Do I need a gunsmith to install this?

No. It's a direct mil-spec fit, so any armorer or builder comfortable swapping a standard trigger group can install it. No custom work or fitting is required.

What's included in the kit?

The kit includes the precision-honed trigger, hammer, and other components needed for a complete trigger group assembly.
