ALG Defense
The ALG Defense Quick Detach Swivel is a lightweight QD sling attachment point built for shooters who demand durability without unnecessary weight. Forged from 7075 T6 aluminum—the same aerospace-grade material and mil-spec manufacturing process used in AR-15 receivers—this sling swivel delivers serious strength in a minimal package. If you're running a precision rifle, AR platform, or any gun equipped with standard QD mounts, this accessory gives you a reliable, repeatable attachment point for tactical slings, hunting carry systems, or range gear.
At roughly half a pound, the FSS won't burden your kit, but don't mistake light weight for fragility. It's engineered to withstand pull forces up to 800 pounds, meaning you can drive hard with your sling during transitions, prone shooting, or rough field conditions without worry. The standard QD configuration means universal compatibility—if your rifle, carbine, or shotgun accepts quick-detach accessories, this swivel works. Black anodized finish resists corrosion and stays low-profile on any platform.
Whether you're a three-gun competitor optimizing load-out weight, a hunter managing multiple carry positions, or a tactical rifle enthusiast standardizing your gear, the ALG Defense QD Swivel combines practical minimalism with proven engineering. It's the kind of component that disappears into your setup and just works.

The FSS weighs approximately 0.5 ounces, making it roughly half the weight of comparable steel QD sling swivel assemblies. This minimal weight is ideal for hunters and competitors looking to keep their overall carry load light.
Yes. The swivel is forged from 7075 T6 aluminum using the same mil-spec manufacturing process as AR-15 receivers. It's rated to withstand pull forces up to 800 pounds, so it can handle hard sling transitions, field carry, and extended shooting sessions without failure.
The FSS features a black anodized finish, which provides corrosion resistance and a low-visibility profile on any firearm.
