ALG Defense
The ALG Defense ACT Advanced Combat Trigger Group for AR-15 & LR-308 is a single-stage trigger designed for shooters who want a measurably smoother, lighter pull without abandoning the familiarity of mil-spec geometry. Built on proven military-type components, the ACT improves on standard triggers through precision surface finishing and advanced coatings—nickel-boron on the trigger itself and nickel-Teflon on the hammer, disconnector, and pins. These coatings increase surface hardness and reduce friction, resulting in an average pull weight around 6 lbs. If you're an AR builder or gunsmith, the ACT works with your established workflow; the enhanced geometry doesn't force you to relearn the platform.
Reliability remains non-negotiable. ALG Defense didn't reinvent the trigger—it refined it. The precision honing of sear contact surfaces smooths the break without introducing slop or unpredictability. This is the philosophy behind an "enhanced standard" trigger: take what works, make it work better, and keep the end user confident in the gun. Whether you're running a 5.56 or 7.62 precision build, the ACT delivers the same controlled, predictable break that matches standard AR-15 and LR-308 platform expectations.
The matte finish resists glare and corrosion while maintaining a professional, no-nonsense appearance. The single-stage design suits hunters, competition shooters, and serious training enthusiasts who value trigger control and repeatability over exotic features or extreme lightness. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with standard trigger swap work on these platforms.
