Alex Pro Firearms
The Alex Pro Firearms Varmint 22 ARC 2.0 with Magpul PRS Lite stock is a purpose-built semi-auto rifle for varmint hunters and precision shooters who want a modern, configurable platform in an efficient intermediate cartridge. This rifle pairs a quality 18-inch barrel with a 1:7 twist rate optimized for 22 ARC performance, a rifle-length gas system tuned for reliability, and a lightweight Magpul PRS Lite stock that keeps weight down while delivering consistent cheek weld and ergonomics. The Cerakote finish in Flat Dark Earth protects the aluminum receiver and barrel against the elements—essential whether you're hunting prairie dogs, taking varmints to distance, or running this rifle on the range.
Build quality starts with Alex Pro's billet receiver set and diamond-honed nitride M16 bolt carrier group, which ensures smooth cycling and longevity. The APF adjustable gas block lets you fine-tune the system to your ammo and suppressor setup (if equipped), while the 3.5-pound drop-in trigger from APF breaks clean for precision work. Controls are ambidextrous—charging handle, safety, and bolt release work equally well for right- or left-handed shooters. The 15-inch M-Lok handguard provides plenty of rail real estate for mounting lights, lasers, or other optics support.
Stock ergonomics matter on a rifle you'll hold for hours behind glass. The Magpul MOE grip and PRS Lite stock are proven designs trusted by competitors and field hunters alike. The modular setup means you can swap furniture as your role demands—bench shooting, hunting, or tactical training all feel natural with Magpul's controls and materials. This is a varmint rifle built to evolve with your needs.

The 22 ARC is an intermediate cartridge designed for AR platforms, offering moderate velocity and precision suitable for varmint hunting and target shooting at distance. It's efficient, inherently accurate, and ballistically superior to many other 22-caliber options while remaining relatively mild-recoiling and easy on ammunition costs compared to larger centerfire rounds.
Yes. The rifle ships without iron sights, leaving the flat-top receiver rail clear for mounting a scope, red dot, or other optic using standard Picatinny rings or adapters. The M-Lok handguard also accepts Picatinny rail sections if you want to mount a magnified optic on the rail itself.
The rifle includes an adjustable gas block, which allows you to tune the cycling to your ammunition and suppressor setup if you plan to run one. This helps you dial in reliability and manage recoil impulse to your preferences.
The APF drop-in trigger is a single-stage design with a clean break, suitable for precision and varmint hunting. A 3.5-pound pull is moderately light and predictable, helping you stay on target without excess finger pressure.
